PLANO, Texas – Enchanted Fairies, the luxury immersive portrait studio for children of all ages – including children at heart – announced today they have donated over $1 million in cash donations to children’s charitable organizations across the United States.
The charitable organizations Enchanted Fairies has partnered with include Kidd’s Kids, Feeding America, Jonathan’s Place, and Safe Kids. These organizations focus on efforts such as preventing childhood hunger, sheltering children from abusive situations, and giving children with life-altering and terminal illnesses a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disney World.
“In 2020, when the pandemic hit, our team really resolved to double down on figuring out how to increase our donation power during what we knew would be a difficult time for many,” said Enchanted Fairies co-founder Aileen Avikova. “We’re so blessed that we get to directly enrich the lives of children and make this mission a core part of our business.”
Since its early days, Enchanted Fairies has focused on helping children flourish by encouraging them to love themselves, practice self-confidence, and be proud of who they are. Serving children and families in need is another tangible way to live out that mission, said Avikova.
“When both our children were born, they were admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU),” she said. “My husband and I had to confront the reality that many parents do, that our children might suffer life-long health effects as a result of early childhood health issues. Thankfully, our children are now doing well, and we feel our gratitude to our creator can best be expressed through giving back to kids and families in need.”
Avikova, her husband, and her brother – who co-founded Enchanted Fairies – remember like it was yesterday when their business was just starting out. They relied on the kindness of others and their own persistence to bring the delight and joy of their work to children and families. Now that they get to give back, it feels even more special, Avikova said.
“It feels like a distant memory, but it also feels like yesterday,” she said. “I’m very grateful that we can bless so many people. That’s all we ever really wanted to do.”
