The gift of local music hopes to make Christmas miracles for those who are less fortunate. Dr. Ted Steliotes, of Steliotes Dental Spa, had a dream years ago as acting Student Body President at the University of Dayton Ohio to help children in need during the holiday season by giving them the gift of love, gifts, games and of course music. His goal is to gather a “choir” comprised of community leaders, residents, athletes, students and influencers throughout the Pittsburgh area in order to create a festive and chilling experience on levels of the 80s USA for Africa hit “We Are the World”, which was a benefit single for victims of famine in Africa, raising over $60 Million, distributed to Ethiopia, Sudan, and other impoverished countries.
Steliotes remembers his time and experiences with this holiday project at the University Dayton saying, “the echo, the sound of all our voices was so beautiful and inspiring, I thought if we could only record this moment and share it to promote helping others.” Keeping these memories in mind, Steliotes along with Bob Kresson CEO of Empire Investigations and Diana Rua of Diana Rua Media are working diligently to bring them to life in the City of Bridges, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Steliotes adds to his idea, dreaming to fill the venue with “as many Pittsburgh residents and friends filling the seats and for one night record the chores of our most beloved Holiday songs!”, and to boot have true professional singers and bands do the lead vocals of the song of their choice, “Because not only are we a city of bridges; we are the city that acts like a family, we care and we give back to each other.”
Empire Investigation’s CEO and Technical Counter Surveillance Expert Robert Kresson,, is always looking for opportunities to give back to the community through what he calls “random acts of kindness”. Being a private investigator for over 30 years, Kresson has seen both sides of the law along with the good and bad of people from all walks of life which is why he so actively attempts to give back to the community and city he was raised in, in order to do his part to make it a better place.
