India’s top elevator and escalator company Johnson Lifts has registered significant growth in recent times with INR 138 crore capacity expansion. This, along with significant market penetration and countrywide presence, and increased clientele has taken over a fifth of the market share. The elevator segment itself has seen a surge with the volume of sales almost doubling in the past five years. Investing INR 13cr in expanding its Oragadam unit with a second production line, the company has also increased the production of escalators. This addition would see the production increase by 500 units per annum.
