Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA – January 11, 2018 – American Pharmaceutical Company, ECI Pharmaceuticals, LLC, celebrated the past holiday season with its annual “Holiday Happy Hour” mixing a dose of fun and some holiday cheer. ECI’s CEO, John S. Copanos, launched a partnership with the Florida-based charity, Children’s Home Society of Florida, adopting 8 foster children for the holidays and donating $1,000 in support of the organization’s mission.
While talking about the foster children at Children’s Home Society, ECI’s Sales and Marketing Manger, Tracy Roloff, explained, “it was important to the company that the employees get involved in the community in a meaningful way. Adopting the foster children was a gratifying and heartwarming experience for everyone involved.” The experience was especially gratifying for the pharmaceutical company’s CEO as he personally adopted one of the foster children purchasing every gift on the young child’s wish list to ensure she would enjoy a memorable and happy holiday.
The season for giving happens year round at ECI Pharmaceuticals. Founded in 2010, ECI has donated to cancer research at Nova Southeastern University’s AutoNation Institute for Breast & Solid Tumor Cancer Research, Cystic Fibrois Foundation, and the Fatima Foundation in Haiti just to name a few. Mr. Copanos concluded saying, “enhancing the quality of life in the community we work and play and beyond our borders is our responsibility. I’m happy to see that the staff at ECI feels the same way.”
