Dungeon Dreams: Roguelike-style Romance JRPG is a unique role-playing game designed with amazing and exciting features that stand it out from others in the gaming world. With the demo version already released and receiving accolades from top game review sites and other such institutions such as GamereviewersAU, the makers of Dungeon Dreams: Roguelike-style Romance JRPG have taken to Kickstarter to raise funds for a better version of the game, helping to bring the dream of fun, exciting and unique RPG to live.
Role-playing games or RPG as they are also called, have become increasingly popular in recent times due to the fun and excitement that come with them. Dungeon Dreams is, however, offering RPG lovers more exciting with its twists and turns, one of which is the ability to influence the town life and affect buildings and NPC daily routines.
Set in the city of Ecallia, the game’s romantic twist sets it apart from other RPGs, allowing players to pursue a romance with more than 5 datable bachelorettes. This is in addition to other fun-filled tasks such as investigating the Dungeon, becoming a famous adventurer or finding a job in town and having fun with the townsfolk.
Inspired by niche classics like Azure Dreams and Rune Factory, other features of the game are briefly highlighted below.
• Flexible story system (free roaming without time limits) and multiple-ending quests that change the game world, with people being able to leave town, change habits, and develop bonds.
• Randomly-generated Dungeon: (rogue-like style) with monsters, traps, and items, where players can meet other Adventurers and interact – team up, fight and discuss.
• Town Building: players can spend profits to build up the town by attracting new settlers and perhaps spark a love interest or two.
• Relationship Building and Dating: the characters have their own personality and custom artwork.
The campaign aims to raise a total of US$ 2,216 to be used for several purposes including artwork, marketing, Kickstarter fee, music, and a commercial license.
