Dr. Rick Goodman will deliver the keynote address at the 2018 Florida Educational Negotiators Conference—an event that will draw public school personnel and key decision-makers from throughout the State of Florida. The event is scheduled for May 14 through 17 in Orlando; Dr. Rick’s address will kick off the formal conference proceedings, to be followed by a host of additional speakers.
“It’s a distinct honor to present for a group of educational leaders, many of whom are former teachers—people I hold in the highest esteem,” comments Goodman. “At this year’s conference, one of the key themes is embracing opportunity and change—and I hope to offer some practical ways to do exactly that.”
Goodman is an internationally renowned keynote speaker who just happens to have Florida roots. Additionally, he’s a skilled negotiator, whose keynote presentation will be on The Art of Successful Negotiation. In other words, he’s a natural fit for a meeting of Florida’s top educational negotiators.
“As these individuals seek to negotiate the best possible contracts with unions and various vendors, the goal is to reach a deal that benefits everyone—and in my address, I’ll offer some strategies and solutions to make that an attainable goal,” Dr. Goodman comments.
The 38th Annual FEN Conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Universal Orlando. A full list of speakers is still in development, but initial details—including information concerning reservations—can be found at http://www.flfen.org/conference.
