On the 14th of November, Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt, a prominent scholar and diplomat, succeeded by assignation to one of Scotland’s oldest and most prestigious titles of nobility, the Barony of Braemar. Created by Crown Charter in 1530 by King James V, the Lordship and Barony of Braemar has been held by some of Great Britain’s most prominent noble families. The Much Honoured Captain Alexander Ramsay of Mar, Baron of Braemar and only son of Princess Patricia of Connaught, held the title in the early 21th century. The caput of the Barony of Braemar, Braemar Court, is located at the heart of the Royal Deeside, only a few miles away from Balmoral Castle, a residence of the Royal Family. The Much Honoured Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt of Braemar, Baron of Braemar, owns Braemar Court, the caput of the Lordship and Barony of Braemar. Consisting of over two hectares of land on the outskirts of the Village of Braemar, the estate has panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The Baron of Braemar’s main seat is Everwise Hall in Palm Beach County, Florida.
