LAS VEGAS, NV – Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, an esteemed figure in her community and a dedicated advocate for the next generation, was honored with the prestigious Black Excellence Award. Texas State Representative Ron Reynolds presented the award to Dr. Mohair, acknowledging her outstanding contributions. She becomes the second recipient from Texas to receive this esteemed accolade.
In addition to the award, Dr. Mohair was presented with a United States of America flag, enclosed in an elegant case. The flag, flown at the Capitol of the Sovereign State of Texas, holds special significance as a symbol of appreciation.
Representative Reynolds bestowed the award and flag upon Dr. Mohair during the 46th Annual National Black Caucus of State Legislators Convention, held at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV, on Friday, December 2, 2022.
The Black Excellence Award recognizes the achievements of African American community leaders, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and other notable individuals. Established to honor professional African Americans for their outstanding works and excellence, the Awards celebrate their remarkable contributions. Reflecting on the honor, Dr. Jacqueline Mohair expressed her gratitude, stating, “It is truly humbling to be recognized as the second recipient of this incredible award, particularly by my second home, the great state of Texas.”
