NEW YORK – DeucesCracked (www.deucescracked.com), one of the longest-running and most respected poker training platforms in the world, today announced the official launch of its completely rebuilt website alongside a landmark decision: the platform’s entire library of more than 1,800 professional poker training videos is now available free of charge to every player, at every level, with no subscription required.
The relaunch represents the most significant milestone in the platform’s 19-year history. The new site has been rebuilt from the ground up on a modern technology stack, delivering faster load times, a cleaner viewing experience, and mobile-first design—while preserving the depth of content and community-driven approach that made DeucesCracked a household name in poker education.
Nearly Two Decades of Poker Education
DeucesCracked was founded in January 2007 by Jay Rosenkrantz, Rob Cole, Joe Tall, Chris Vitch, and Chuck Danielsson. At the time, Rosenkrantz was widely recognized as one of the biggest winners in online no-limit hold’em cash games, and the founding team shared a conviction that professional-level poker instruction should be accessible, structured, and taught by players who were actively competing at the highest stakes.
What began as a small group of professionals sharing screen-recorded sessions quickly grew into one of the most influential poker education platforms of its era. DeucesCracked pioneered several formats that are now standard across the industry, including multi-coach analysis sessions—most notably the popular “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” series—and an interactive video player featuring timestamped community comments that turned passive viewing into collaborative learning.
The platform also produced 132 episodes of the DeucePlays podcast between 2009 and 2012, along with additional shows including Live Poker Edge and Small Stakes Edge, further extending its reach into the poker community.
World-Class Coaching Roster
Over its lifetime, the DeucesCracked coaching roster grew from the original five founders to nearly 70 experienced professionals. The platform’s instructors include some of the most accomplished and respected names in poker:
Vanessa Selbst, a three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and former world number-one ranked female player, served as an executive producer and contributed over 150 training videos to the library. Phil Galfond, widely regarded as one of the greatest Pot Limit Omaha players in history and founder of the online poker site Run It Once, contributed 60 videos covering advanced PLO strategy. Jay Rosenkrantz personally produced more than 200 videos spanning cash game strategy, mental game, and hand analysis.
The roster also includes Joe Tall (tournament specialist, 120 videos), Andrew Brokos (strategy author and co-host of the Thinking Poker Podcast, 70 videos), Ansky (high-stakes cash game professional, 100 videos), Nate Meyvis (analyst and podcast host, 50 videos), Whitelime (poker theory pioneer, 90 videos), and Foxwoodsfiend (live cash game expert, 80 videos), among dozens of other accomplished professionals.
Additional WSOP bracelet winners who have produced content for the platform include John Beauprez and Vincent Van Der Fluit, while Dani Stern joined as an executive producer in 2009 after leaving a rival training site.
Entire Video Library Now Free for All Players
As part of the relaunch, DeucesCracked has made the decision to remove all paywalls and make its complete library of over 1,500 training videos available at no cost. The collection covers Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Seven-Card Stud, 2-7 Triple Draw, and mixed games, with content organized into structured learning paths from beginner fundamentals through advanced theory.
Popular instructional series now freely accessible include “The Coaching Tree,” “The Eightfold Path to Poker Enlightenment,” and “Mathematics of NL Holdem,” alongside thousands of hand review sessions, live play commentaries, and deep-dive strategy discussions.
“When the founders started DeucesCracked in 2007, the goal was always to make professional-level poker education accessible,” said Scott Jones, Chief Content Officer at DeucesCracked. “Making the entire library free is the natural next step in that mission. These videos represent nearly two decades of accumulated knowledge from some of the best poker minds in the world, and we believe every player should have access to that, regardless of their bankroll.”
A Modern Platform Built for Today’s Players
The rebuilt website replaces the platform’s legacy WordPress infrastructure with a modern, performance-optimized architecture. The new site features responsive mobile-first design, faster page loads, improved video navigation, and integrated tools including a poker odds calculator, hand analyzer, poker hand rankings, interactive daily puzzle, strategy quizzes, and starting hand charts.
The platform continues to serve as a comprehensive poker resource, with sections covering expert poker room reviews, sports betting guides, casino reviews, strategy articles, a community blog, and regularly updated industry news.
