Once hailed by Q Magazine as “the most popular electronic band the world has ever known,” Depeche Mode has had a remarkably successful and lasting career since the release of their first album, Speak & Spell in 1981. The past three decades have seen a shift in tone from the more upbeat beginnings of the band to the darker and more melancholy sound that they are known for today, and most of their fanbase has followed them through the years. Just last month Depeche Mode announced that they would be giving control of their official band Facebook page over to their fans for a year – a different fan every day – to allow them all to share their own personal pictures and stories related to the band.

While tickets for the international dates are already available, tickets for the North American leg of the “Global Spirit Tour” go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 10, 2017.
