The influential and much beloved English synthpop trio, Depeche Mode has officially announced a lengthy list of international and North American dates for their upcoming “Global Spirit Tour” which is set to kick off in Stockholm, Sweden on May 5th at the Friends Arena. The “Global Spirit Tour” is in support of the band’s fourteenth album, Spirit, which will be released later this month, making it the band’s first new studio album since 2013’s Delta Machine. The well-received lead single for the album, “Where’s the Revolution,” has been available since February. Early reviews of Spirit have touted the album as “the most energized Depeche Mode album in years.” The band was also very recently nominated for inclusion in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
