Houston TX dentist and practice owner Dr. Behzad Nazari, of Antoine Dental Center, helped the residents of Houston and surrounding communities during these difficult economic times by giving free Emergency Dental Treatment on Thursday, February 22. 

The free dental treatments were given at Dr. Nazari’s office located at 701 E. Burress St, Houston, TX 77022. 

“There was a huge turnout at the event. We serviced one hundred people and performed various procedures. There were cleanings, fillings, and tooth extractions,” explains Dr. Nazari, adding, “we provided services in over $30,000 in production!” 

The Emergency Dental Treatment Day was designed to treat anyone above the age of 12 for free, who cannot afford dentistry. 

Dr. Nazari was inspired to produce this community effort after reading a report about how an increasing number of Americans are having to forgo dental care because they have no insurance and therefore unable to afford the cost of a visit to the dentist. 

According to Dr. Nazari, “Anyone with a dental emergency and could not afford it was provided with Emergency Dental Treatment for free on a first-come, first-served basis.”
