Dementia Care Warriors Celebrates National Family Caregivers Month
A Month of Compassion and Celebration for Caregivers

Dallas, TX – Dementia Care Warriors (DCW) is proud to stand alongside dementia family caregivers during National Family Caregivers Month. DCW is involved in multiple events throughout November to commemorate National Family Caregivers Month, honoring and appreciating caregivers’ invaluable contributions. DCW’s mission is to provide resources and support to those caring for loved ones facing dementia. “National Family Caregivers Month is an opportunity for us to recognize and celebrate the immense strength and resilience of dementia family caregivers. Our commitment at Dementia Care Warriors is to support caregivers, ensuring they receive the assistance and tools they need to thrive,” says Veronica Shanklin, Founder/CEO of Dementia Care Warriors.

“Faces of Care Warriors” Photo Exhibit:

One of the cornerstones of DCW’s November initiatives is the “Faces of Care Warriors” photo exhibit, a powerful tribute to dementia family caregivers. This project captures the essence of caregiving through heartfelt photographs and personal narratives. The exhibit showcases diverse images of caregivers and their loved ones, coupled with their compelling caregiver stories with the goal of shining a light on the often-unseen heroes in our society, those who confront the challenges of dementia with grace and courage.

Gallery Exhibit Kick-off Reception/Fundraiser:

To inaugurate this significant exhibit, Dementia Care Warriors will host an opening  reception and fundraiser on November 1 at Beehive Dallas in the Design District.
