DAYTON, OHIO – 24 June, 2017 – The Brahma Kamaris World Spiritual Organization in the US, part of a worldwide network of learning and retreat centers focused on societal and world transformation through the study and spiritual practice of Raja Yoga Mediation, invites Ohio and surrounding residents to join internationally renowned inspirational speaker Sister Shivani on Tuesday June 27, 2017 from 6:30pm – 9:00pm at the Dayton Masonic Center (525 W. Riverview Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45405).
Sister Shivani has been presenting spiritual solutions to the complex problems of contemporary life through a TV program called ‘Awakening with Brahma Kumaris’ which airs in over 160 countries and five continents.Her YouTube channel alone has over 33 million views and over 160,000 subscribers. Over 1500 people from Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland and parts of Kentucky and Indiana are expected to attend the program.
The tour is intended to encourage people to discover and develop their inner resources to resolve conflicts and improve relationships and performance. A spiritual ‘awakening’ can open doorways to new types of solutions and higher levels of freedom and satisfaction.
The Ohio Governor’s office has issued a proclamation welcoming Sister Shivani to Ohio. Proclamation will be delivered by Ohio State Representative, Niraj Antani. “I’m excited to attend this important event for the Indian American community in Dayton,” Representative Antani said. “I hope the Dayton community finds this event enriching and worthwhile.”
A former electronics engineer, Sister Shivani completed her graduate degree as a Gold Medalist from Pune University, India and also served for two years as a lecturer in India before devoting her life to Brahma Kumaris.Sister Shivani has mastered the art of spiritual principles not only to resolve personal crises but also to find paths toward higher levels of peace and happiness. She is a Women of the Decade award winner from ASSOCHAM’S Ladies League and a World Psychiatry Association goodwill ambassador.
