DayDay Flex is a young artist from Brooklyn who has announced the release of the music video for the fifth single off his debut project. The song called ‘Dividends’ is garnering great feedback from the music lovers and the views are rapidly increasing on YouTube. The song features good quality vocals by the artist, groovy beats and an engaging video. With goals of putting on for his family & loved ones, DayDay Flex shares his taste for success & how much he enjoys getting money & staying militant.
Inspired by his older sister who was an artist, DayDay developed an early interest in music. He would often listen to music alone in his room and enjoy rapping along with YouTube instrumentals. As he grew up, he decided to take music seriously and went out to record his first song in a recording studio. He worked hard to master his craft before officially getting into the Hip Hop and rap music scene. He is a versatile artist that aims to create music that is relatable to everyone. “The message I’m trying to convey with my music is that no matter what you do, don’t ever give up; And no matter what you’re going through you can always prevail. I often make music about my past life that I’ve overcome, that many people can relate to.”
DayDay released his first single “Go Dumb” in 2017 following up with the release of his song “Providing the Wave” in 2018 which helped him gain a buzzing audience. In the same year, he collaborated with artist Famous Webz and made a song called “Lbop Through The City” that buzzed throughout the city and is now at 130k+ views. Finally, in 2020, he launched his first EP “To The Top” featuring six-songs including the latest release “Dividends” that has already garnered thousands of views on YouTube, in just a few days of its launch.
DayDay is currently producing music as an independent artist but hopes to work with a reputed label in the near future.
