Damon Russell, the long-time Operations Manager of Complete Media Event has partnered with founders of Positivity Pays, Ramon “Absoloot” Robinson and Brandon Freeny to create EPIC, a trading card company dedicated to highlighting the work of community heroes.

Interest in trading cards is hitting new heights with a 142% surge in domestic sales reported on eBay. More than 4 million trading cards were sold in 2020 than in the year before — illustrating just how much the enthusiasm for trading cards has grown and the cultural foothold it has taken. Interests across all collectibles will continue to grow in 2021.

Leveraging on this, the creative minds at Positivity pays, created these trading cards to celebrate and promote the unsung heroes of South Florida such as Kelvin Watson, Librarian of the Year in 2019 by the Florida Library Association (FLA), Bobby Henry, Publisher of the Westside Gazette, State Senator Shevrin Jones, Pastor Marcus Davidson of the New Mount Olive Baptist Church, and many others who have dedicated their lives to improving the community.
