The Yangtze River Crossing Project of China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Crossing Branch is the first project in China to use epoxy fiberglass reinforced plastic FRP for overall pipe protection, and it is also the longest pipeline crossing length in China so far, with a crossing length of 3400 meters. The survey shows that there are many rocks in the crossing area, and the geological conditions are relatively harsh. The successful application of epoxy fiberglass indicates that the problems that have plagued pipeline crossing construction have been fundamentally solved, filling the gap in the field of external protection products for crossing pipelines.

In the product oil pipeline crossing the Yangtze River (Jingjiang – Jiangyin) project, for the anti – corrosion protection project of the epoxy fiberglass outer layer in the Yangtze River directional drilling crossing, Shenzhen CYG Changtong New Material Co., Ltd.’s FRDP epoxy fiberglass was used for the outer layer protection and anti-corrosion of the 3PE outer layer of the entire pipe and the heat-Shrinkable Tape at the weld.
