Bruggler Watches was founded by Katarina Bruggler, an expert in the art of fine Swiss watchmaking. Now, she and her team are offering opportunities for customers to design their own fine timepieces with almost endless combinations that feature the very best of quality timepiece construction techniques and materials. Bruggler has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for this project.
Using the configuration software available on the website, a bespoke chronograph can be designed and ordered in about 15 minutes. All watches are 100 percent Swiss made and use only the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. According to Bruggler, “The ‘grails’ of individual luxury are unique items of extraordinary quality and beauty that are tailor-made to a very personal dream. With our concept, we want to offer aficionados of fine watches a much more accessible way to fulfill their dream.”
Customers can choose from 27 dial colors, a variety of hands and index markers and numerous bezel engravings. Precious stones can also be embedded on the bezel. Customers can choose quartz or automatic movement, black and white date dials or other options to make their timepieces truly unique. The original test protocols are glued into the owner’s booklet so the watch aficionado can see exactly how his or her personal chronograph performed before delivery, and all watches are adjusted to exceed COSC standards. Using proprietary software, Bruggler deliver a bespoke chronograph within 6 weeks. This project has the potential to change in many ways on how we will buy individualized bespoke high quality watches.
