Throughout the competition, athletes and teams receive a score for each event, based on their finish, with teams who tie receiving the same amount of points. There are up to 100 points possible for each event. Some of the events are timed, and competitors will receive a one-second penalty for every rep not completed within the allotted time limit. Lastly, some events incorporate minimum work requirements. Any team or individual athlete that fails to meet the minimum is not eligible to continue with the rest of the competition.

Held since 2007, the CrossFit Games are known worldwide as the ultimate test to uncover the ‘Fittest on Earth.’ They bring together the world’s best athletes and celebrate the remarkable power of the human body. CrossFit has become one of the fastest growing sports in America.
