On November 15, 2023, io500.org released the results of the latest production io500 benchmarks including the result from the Argonne National Laboratory measuring DAOS at over ten (10) TeraBytes per second with 300 nodes. That’s not ten Gigabits, not ten Terabits, but ten TERABYTES per second. That’s mind-blowing io500 production performance never before seen with any production storage system on the io500 list.
