Multi-Award winning Composer RANDY EDELMAN will be a special featured guest on BBC Radio London on 17 December on Kath Melandri Sunday Afternoon Show at 5:00 PM (17:00) GMT. Following the maestro’s radio extravaganza on 21 December at 9:15 GMT Randy will once again enchant the intimate art deco cabaret lounge of Crazy Coqs located in the heart of Piccadilly, inside Brasserie Zedel restaurant, sharing his music and stories and holiday spirit.
The week before Christmas in London is a magical vivid display of lively optimism and sparkling lights, warm hearts and a sense of wonder. The slightly smog-tinged London air cradles a fairground illumination which makes Christmas the center of all joy. After a sold-out performance this summer, Randy Edelman returns to Crazy Coqs offering as much joy as the season brings with his hit songs including “Uptown, Uptempo Woman”, “Concrete and Clay”, “Pretty Girls” and his new global anthem of hope and inspiration “Everything Is Possible.”
Randy Edelman’s songs have also been covered by some of the most talented and influential artists including Barry Manilow (A Weekend in New England), Patti LaBelle (Isn’t it a Shame), Nelly (My Place), Olivia Newton-John, Dionne Warwick, and even Bing Crosby amongst others.
Randy will also perform excerpts from some of the over 100 motion picture and television soundtracks that he has so beautifully and sensitively created. Included in those are “My Cousin Vinny”, “Gettysburg”, “The Bruce Lee Story”, “Kindergarten Cop”, “While You Were Sleeping”, “Dragon Heart”, “Ghostbusters ll”, “Twins”, “Billy Madison”, the theme from the hit series “MacGyver”, “Twins”, “27 Dresses”, and “Last of the Mohicans” which earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination.
