Parley, a new social game played in-person by 20-100s of people using smartphones, will be an interactive vendor at the “Warmest Winter” holiday fundraiser at the Museum of Science and Industry, presented by SocialWorks.

Fête Games (pronounced like “met”) Founder & CEO Amanda Carlson, out of Raleigh, North Carolina, is participating in the SocialWorks fundraiser benefiting the homeless because:

”Our social game, Parley, builds fun and friendship among players and fun ways to earn money among Parley hosts and emcees. We feel that Chicagoans and people across the country will enjoy earning money emceeing fun interaction in their communities.”

Players and hosts access their Dashboards via login on Fête Game’s website using smartphones. Players receive financial characters & asset portfolios, which they negotiate face-to-face to make billion-dollar trades via mobile.

“Humans are social creatures, and we’re enlivened by healthy, caring relationships. We believe that human relationships determine the quality of life all over the planet and that healthy, caring relationships are core to solving the world’s problems,” said Carlson.

Parley is designed to be played at gatherings across the USA. Carlson plans to offer three half-hour games over the course of “A Night at the Museum,” along with Fête memorabilia and information about hosting. Fête’s booth is #48, Balcony Level 3, overlooking Jackson Park.
