Our final interview on cloud based video production with Philippe Laurent CEO of GoEasyLive, follows four additional interviews from the industry including: CEO of vMix Martin Sinclair, CEO of NewTek Andrew Cross, Mark Gilbert CIO of NDI.Cloud and John Landmand of Teradek. Laurent is one of the pioneers of online video editing and production and his EasyLive product is a much anticipated “Cloud Video Editing Tool” made to make live streaming easy. The idea is simple. Capture live video from anywhere in the world, stream it to the cloud and send it anywhere you want. Eventually, this will be the future of live video production and an extension of existing hardware based live broadcasting systems.

Currently GoEasyLive’s pricing is based off of a monthly/yearly subscription and a per minute charge. So while they do offer a low start-up cost, heavy users can may save money with a dedicated on-premise system.
