The family holiday film, “CHRISTMAS DREAMS” follows the story of The Little Drummer Boy (Conrad Sager) and the Pretty Girl (Francesca Flamminio) through a spectacular adventure.
Over the last several years, composer/producer and Chester native, Michael Rapp (”Masters of the Universe”, “Colors”, “Luma”, “Rasputin”) and his wife, Producer Kim Lenny, have been creating entertainment projects using local talent to help bring those projects to life. One such project, “Christmas Dreams”, is a family friendly holiday film highlighting the virtue of giving.
Rapp’s “Christmas Is For Kids”, has achieved success since its release in 2015, hitting #1 Top100 Spincrease and #12 Hot AC Main Chart single, and soaring the music charts in 2016 hitting #1 INDIE Record and #2 on Top40 Most Added, featuring children from Chester’s New Life Ministries, as well as a Christian version performed by Pastor Joy Scott, also of New Life Ministries. Last week, Rapp’s “Christmas Is For Kids” hit #21 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Chart, remaining a top-hit, perfect for the holiday season.

Originally conceived as a vehicle to help energize the arts in Chester, “Christmas Dreams” eventually morphed into a commercial vehicle with narration by Christian actor, Kevin Sorbo (“God’s Not Dead”and “Let There Be Light”), which helped distribute the film in over 3,500 Wal-Mart stores across the country with the bonus feature of Kevin Sorbo’s personal Christmas wish.
Rapp’s next works include “Carryin’ On!”, a musical adaptation of “4 Church Mothers & A Funeral”, original written as a play by young African American writer, Tasha Taylor. Alongside Tony Winner Lillias White (“The Life and Fela”) and PBS’ dubbed as “one of American’s greatest painters”, Philadelphia artist, Moe Brooker, “Carryin’ On!” plans to premiere the musical in Philadelphia.
