Virginia, USA – November 19, 2025 – At a time when economic independence and community ownership are more important than ever, BUZIEBAM is emerging as a digital bridge connecting Black entrepreneurs, consumers, and families across the nation. Founded by Kenneth and Vanessa McAllister, the platform reflects a shared mission that reaches beyond business. It is about empowerment, unity, and generational legacy.
BUZIEBAM (https://buziebam.com) was born from the McAllisters’ desire to create a trusted, community-centered platform where Black-owned businesses and buyers could connect and thrive. Inspired by their children—affectionately nicknamed Buzie and Bam—the couple envisioned an app that would circulate wealth within the Black community while teaching future generations that ownership begins at home.
“This started as a family idea, something our children could one day lead,” Kenneth shared. “But it quickly became much bigger. BUZIEBAM is a reminder that when we invest in each other, we strengthen the foundation for our collective future.”
Vanessa added, “We wanted to create something our family — and our community — could be proud of. BUZIEBAM represents connection, empowerment, and legacy all in one.”

A Modern Tool with a Mission Rooted in Tradition
BUZIEBAM is more than an online marketplace — it’s a digital community hub. Users can buy, sell, rent, or promote local products and services while discovering neighborhood vendors, restaurants, and creators through its built-in business directory. Designed with accessibility, transparency, and people at its core, BUZIEBAM makes local commerce simple and community-driven.
From a technical perspective, BUZIEBAM’s strength lies in its flexibility. Sellers can create multiple storefronts, manage inventory, and communicate directly with customers, while buyers enjoy a secure and transparent experience. At its heart, the app’s real innovation is its commitment to economic unity, a principle deeply rooted in the history of Black entrepreneurship.
Circulating Wealth and Supporting Education
Beyond commerce, BUZIEBAM invests in the future. The company donates 5 percent of its proceeds to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), recognizing education as a cornerstone of progress. This initiative extends the platform’s mission of empowerment by ensuring that economic opportunity and academic advancement grow hand in hand.
“When we support Black colleges, we are investing in tomorrow’s innovators, educators, and leaders,” Kenneth said. “Every transaction on BUZIEBAM helps fund that vision of progress.”
Vanessa emphasized, “Education changes generations. Supporting HBCUs ensures that the legacy we’re building continues far beyond us.”
A Movement for Generational Wealth
BUZIEBAM’s story mirrors that of many Black families working to build a lasting legacy. It is a family-owned business that began with a simple question: How can we make it easier for our people to find and support each other? The answer is now live — a thriving platform that empowers everyday users to turn that question into action.
For Kenneth and Vanessa, the dream is clear. They hope to see BUZIEBAM become a lasting part of the economic and cultural fabric of the Black community.
“Our ancestors built with their hands,” Kenneth reflected. “We are building with our ideas and our technology.”
Vanessa added, “This is about legacy, love, and leadership. We’re building systems that empower our people and create opportunities for the next generation.”
