Nurturing Every Child’s Potential in a Safe and Supportive Environment.

Plymouth Meeting, PA – Apr 1, 2024 – Safe Social Space Therapeutic Services LLC is thrilled to announce the launch of their groundbreaking “Inclusion” Summer Camp, catering to children ages 5 to 13 years old. Located in Plymouth Meeting, PA, this inclusive camp welcomes all children, including those with special needs such as ADHD, social anxiety, Autism, and various other challenges.

“At Safe Social Space Therapeutic Services, we believe that every child deserves a summer filled with fun, friendship, and growth,” says Lati’a D. Sheppard-Wilson MS, owner, and operator of the camp. “Our ‘Camp Junior Butterfly’ is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment where children of all abilities can thrive and develop essential social skills.”

The camp is led by a team of experienced professionals, including a Master’s Level Clinician/Behavioral Specialist, ensuring that each child receives personalized care and attention throughout their summer experience. All camp counselors are extensively trained in Behavioral Health, equipped to handle the diverse needs of the campers with compassion and expertise.

“Our goal is to create a nurturing space where every child feels valued and accepted,” adds Sheppard-Wilson. “Through engaging activities and meaningful interactions, we aim to foster confidence, resilience, and lasting friendships among our campers.”

In addition to traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor adventures, the “Camp Junior Butterfly” offers specialized programming tailored to the unique needs of children with social and emotional challenges. Interactive group sessions, therapeutic exercises, and structured play are incorporated into the daily schedule to promote socialization and emotional well-being.

“We understand the importance of providing opportunities for children to connect with peers, express themselves, and build positive relationships,” says Sheppard-Wilson. “Our campers not only have a blast participating in exciting activities but also make significant strides in their social development.”
