BROADSWORD PRESIDENT JEFF DALTON NAMED CHAIRMAN OF CMMI INSTITUTE’S PARTNER ADVISORY BOARD

Dalton’s Third Term Is a First among PAB Leaders

WATERFORD, MI – April 30, 2018 – Broadsword Solutions Corporation (Broadsword) today announced that the company’s president, Jeff Dalton, has been named Chairman of the CMMI Institute’s Partner Advisory Board (PAB) for a third term. Dalton will be PAB’s first three-term Chairman since the organization was established in 2006.

The Partner Advisory Board advises the CMMI Institute on market and end-user strategy.  With representatives from Asia, Latin America, Europe, and North America, the PAB represents the voices of over three hundred global partners that deliver appraisal, training, and consulting solutions to over two thousand companies each year.

Dalton’s third induction as Chairman of the Partner Advisory Board takes place on May 1, 2018 at the CMMI Institute’s annual conference, “Capability Counts 2018” in Reston, VA.  Dalton will describe his vision for the PAB, and introduce new communications channels that will be available to the community for the first time.

“I’m honored and humbled to be elected Chairman of this esteemed group of leaders in the CMMI community,” Dalton said. “The viability of the CMMI – and most importantly, the success of all of our clients – depends upon our ability to maintain a genuine partnership between the CMMI Institute and its business partners. I am confident that by continuing to work closely together, we will sustain the reputation of the CMMI as the pre-eminent global business process model.”

A frequent speaker and contributor to the CMMI and Agile communities, Dalton has presented at the CMMI Institute’s annual conference, Capability Counts (f/k/a SEPG) each year for well over a decade, including twice as a keynote speaker.  He is the author of “The Guide to Scrum and CMMI: Improving Agile Performance with CMMI,” an Institute publication in which he describes a disciplined and robust model for succeeding with large-scale agile using the CMMI.

“Jeff Dalton has been a vital part of the Partner community for many years,” said Katie Tarara, Manager of Partner and Client Services at the CMMI Institute.  “In his third term as Chairman, Jeff will leverage his considerable leadership and relationship-building skills, as well as a deep knowledge of the CMMI and the organizations that are utilizing the process model, which benefits both of the CMMI Institute and the Partner community he represents.  We’re looking forward to another great year together!”
