Member satisfaction scores tied to on-site nutrition rose from +18 to +44 within six months of the rollout, according to operator Peak Fuel Vending.

DENVER, Colo. – July 9th, 2026 – A 12-location boutique gym chain in the Denver metro area is generating as much as $2,700 in monthly revenue per machine from a fleet of custom-wrapped vending machines that replaced an honor-box refrigerator system prone to theft and unpredictable costs. The rollout, completed in four months by operator Peak Fuel Vending using equipment from VMFS USA, also coincided with the gym’s member satisfaction score for on-site nutrition rising from +18 to +44.

The gym chain’s previous setup, an unstaffed fridge and honor box offering recovery drinks and protein bars, was regularly cleaned out and left the operator unable to control the cost of goods sold. Because the gym’s locations operate on a 24-hour access model, the brand needed a cashless, app-friendly alternative that did not require staffing a smoothie counter and that matched its interior design.

Peak Fuel Vending configured 12 Smart Combo machines with custom black wraps to match each location’s aesthetic. Members pay by tapping their gym key fob, which is integrated with the operator’s point-of-sale system. Product selection was narrowed to items suited to a gym audience: cold brew, electrolyte drinks, protein bars and recovery shakes.

The busiest locations now average $2,700 per month in vending revenue, while the chain’s smallest sites clear $1,150 per month. The gym has since signed an exclusive five-year vending contract with Peak Fuel Vending and requested two additional locations for the following year.
