BookLeaf Publishing is delighted to announce that it is hosting a virtual 21 days poetry writing challenge called #writeathon. The online writing challenge will have registrants submit a poem, every day, for 21 days.
The publishing company says writers, poets, and aspiring authors who have been procrastinating putting out a body of work in poetry can take advantage of this challenge as there are no limitations on the themes of individual poems, and even previously written but unpublished poems are eligible for submission.
BookLeaf Publishing has revealed that every participant who completes the challenge will be awarded its limited-edition trophy of tributary The 21st Century Emily Dickinson Award for honoring their accomplishment.
Open for writers from all across the globe, BookLeaf Publishing says that there are currently only 50 slots for the challenge, and each writer who completes the writing exercise will be given a chance to have all their submitted poems published.
In addition, all writers will be given access to its cover library where they can choose covers for their books from over 100+ designs. The publishing company will create the interior layouts and designs, publish them in paperback & ebook, and also distribute them to online book platforms such as Amazon, Kindle, Apple iBooks, Kobo Books, and Barnes & Noble.
The published authors will retain complete ownership of the book’s copyright and content, as well as receive a royalty equal to 100% of the profit from sale every month.
Participating in the challenge and also taking advantage of the publishing deal will cost each writer a one-time fee of $49. Poems can be submitted in English, French, and Hindi. And writers unable to complete the challenge within the stipulated time will get an extra 7 days to make up for any submissions missed.
BookLeaf Publishing is described as one of the leading and most affordable self-publishing portals in the world.
