Reggie Jackson is a Chicago based educator and playwright, and he has proudly announced the launch of an exciting new initiative called the Black Men Talk (BMT) Play Festival. After having his own experiences with play festivals, Reggie has decided to create a forum for black male playwrights. To bring this festival to life, Reggie has launched a campaign on Kickstarter and is welcoming generous community support and backing.
“This festival is a celebration of the voices, stories, and perspectives of black male playwrights as it will showcase the works of new and emerging black male playwrights from across the country,” said Reggie Jackson while sharing his thoughts with the Kickstarter community. “The festival will also provide them with mentorship, feedback, and exposure.” He added that BMT will also feature networking opportunities for the playwrights and the theater community.
The Kickstarter Campaign is located at:
