Empire actress AzMarie Livingston will trek to the big screen after snaring a pivotal role in writer-director Justin Price’s new romantic comedy Almost Amazing.

Shooting in Los Angeles, the movie will feature the model and actress alongside Torrei Hart and Academy Award Nominee Eric Roberts.

The film follows three men who run a professional breakup agency but who are failing to end their own deteriorating relationships. 

Producers are Price, Khu, Reno Rankin, Matthew Simmons and Eddy Herrero.

Better known simply as AzMarie, the thesp got her big break on America’s Next Top Model : British Invasion in 2012. Film wise, her biggest credit is Precious, from Lee Daniels. Daniels would later cast Livingston in the FOX series Empire, in which she has the recurring role of Chicken.

Director Price’s previous credits include Forsaken and Dark Moon Rising, which also featured Roberts.

A release date has yet to be announced for the film.
