Author's Tranquility Press Publishes Evalyn Anderson’s Mystery - Making a Man from Scratch
Popular publicity and media agency, Author’s Tranquility Press, throws weight behind Evalyn Anderson to publish “Making a Man from Scratch,” a suspense-filled sci-fi mystery

Evalyn’s heroine, Jane Marlowe, an attorney who enjoys her pro bono cases more than those assigned by her prestigious firm, finds herself going far beyond the confines of the law before she is finished with the case of Clyde Piggott, who appears from nowhere, wearing Nineteenth Century farmers clothing, with no assets and insists that the farm on which Jane’s friend, John, the sheriff of an adjoining county, had found him trespassing, belonged to him in 1897, when he was kidnapped by aliens, taken to space, experimented on, and returned to his farm, as promised, but two centuries into the future.

Neither Jane nor John believe his story, but when they’ve searched every data base they can think of and lists of escaped prisoners and mental patients, they have no clue to his identity. Jane finally concludes that since he doesn’t exist, for all practical purposes, in the 21st Century, she needs to find a way to give him an existence. This takes her far outside the box, but she is able to see him, after many strange twists and turns, settled and living a happy life.

Happy to get back to cases of people firmly attached to Earth, Jane barely has time to relax when a potential new client tells her that he returned to Earth on the same spaceship as Clyde, who has recommended her. He was the sole survivor of a five man exploration crew stranded on Earth when their spaceship was destroyed, He had lived in several ancient civilizations until he’d hitch-hiked on a spaceship to a more technically advanced planet, the same one where Clyde was kept in seclusion. He hated that planet, and hitch-hiked back, where he met Clyde for the first time.

Jane didn’t know if she was facing a handsome human male or some loathsome creature who’d merged with a human body of his own making, as he claimed.  Trying to gather her wits about her, she was sure of one thing only – she needed a break.
