Author Brooklyn Roller and publisher Michael D. Butler, of Beyond Publishing, have donated 80 children’s books to Benji Langley, the founder of Build-a-Bed Project. Langley is part of the Jefferson County Public School System in Louisville, Kentucky with the school support services and is able to help identify the needs of those children without a bed.

Brooklyn Roller (daughter of Misty and Kenny Roller) and Michael D. Butler of Beyond Publishing Global, Dallas, TX were honored to make the presentation of 80 children’s books to Benji Langley (founder of Build-a-Bed Project).  Langley is part of the Jefferson County Public School System in Louisville, Kentucky with the school support services.

Langley is able to help identify the needs of those children without a bed.  All 80 children’s books were sponsored by Louisville Paving and Construction Company (a family-owned business) serving the Louisville Metro and Southern Indiana region (Kentuckiana).  Each bed that will be built by Build-a-Bed will receive one book of Buddy Luv.  The book was written by Brooklyn Roller, children’s author.  Louisville Paving was founded in 1949.

Louisville Paving and Construction Company own and operate three modern asphalt plants.  Representing Louisville Paving is Jennifer VanVactor.  She is the Director of Business Development and Marketing for Louisville Paving, Inc.  Louisville Paving takes great pride in supporting their community and joining efforts with the Build-a-Bed Project.

A positive impact was made by all, not just for the community, but for the children who will benefit in receiving a bed with all the amenities and the book, Buddy Luv – everyone needs “someBUDDY” to love.
