Austin A250 is the newly launched mountain bike by Austin Motors that is being called as the ‘most affordable mountain bike ever’. The product is soon going to launch its Kickstarter campaign with a goal of $20,000 on February 15th, 2018. Through the Kickstarter campaign, the backers can pre-order the bike for up to 70% off the estimated MSRP of $1999. The estimated delivery of the product is August 2018 and it ships to anywhere in the world.
Austin A250 is designed for all kinds of riders whether the regular commuters or the adventure riders. It features a powerful engine which gives a maximum speed of 25km/h or 20 mph. The bike can be easily charged to full power overnight to keep it going for up to 80km/50 miles. The cycling computer is directly connected to the battery and the built-in sensors allow the user to read battery Level, Speed, distance, and output mode.
Austin A250 is available in three different sizes that is small (54cm/21.6inches), medium (58cm/22.9inches) and large (62cm/24.4inches). It uses 26V battery and a charging time of 6 hrs. The bike is developed with an aim to make electric bikes more affordable to everyone without compromising on its quality and functionality. The final prototype of the bike was developed after a whole year of research and development to present a bike that is highly functional yet not so heavy on the pocket.
The Success of the Kickstarter campaign will ensure that the company is able to get the e-bike into mass production for delivering it to the backers as well as covering the cost of marketing of the product. By pledging for $599 USD, the backers can get the e-bike at a super early bird price. They can pre-order the bike in unique Titanium color, exclusively available through Kickstarter along with branded sports seat, charging hub, limited edition number engraved and removable battery.
