WISHSL – an emerging music producer based in Toronto – has released a new remix of friend Nika Smith’s song “Letter’s Unsent” from her well-received album “Skin”. In this new track, WISHSL has provided the perfect backing mix to Nika’s unique buttery-smooth voice, reminiscent of classics by Nancy Sinatra.
‘Letters Unsent’ features super soft and melodious vocals by Nika, so WISHSL added a full orchestral ensemble to highlight all the feels in the song, turning it into an instant Valentine’s Day classic. “This song will remind you of the one you love and make you want to propose”, says WISHSL. The end result is a cool summer lovestruck vibe to enhance the overall feel of this already beautiful composition.
Since 2018, WISHSL has re-imagined popular music in the form of remixes and augmentations. WISHSL’s latest tracks include remixes of Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Twenty One Pilots, and Gladys Knight. Letters Unsent is from Nika’s debut album ‘Skin’.
WISHSL’s ‘psych-rock hot take remix’ of Twenty One Pilot’s Chlorine was well received by fans, and heavy rock guitars combined with amazing beat drops has made the track a club favorite. Another WISHSL remix to look out for is Billie Eilish’s-Bad Guy ‘orchestral jazz klezmer remix’ which lends a more Jazzy and mysterious vibe this summer classic.
