Arianne Clément is an inspiring Canadian photo journalist, who is known worldwide for photographing senior citizens. She has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds and support for her inspiring project, which is dedicated to covering nonagenarians and centenarians from the Blue Zones worldwide. She had to travel to the areas around the world where average life expectancy is much higher, and she is now welcoming everyone to support her Kickstarter campaign.
“Photographic portraits of elders is my passion and my portraits are accompanied by video graphic documents, in which subjects share their thoughts, give advice for future generations and sing songs that have marked their existence,” said Arianne Clement, while introducing her project to the Kickstarter community. “I am asking you today for your support to help me reach my third destination out of a total five destinations,” she added.
Her third destination is Okinawa, Japan and she intends to spend four weeks in the region in February 2019 to cover these inspiring stories of seniors. Furthermore, Arianne also wants to use this project as an opportunity for these elders, to express themselves on themes such as health, work, family, spirituality, longevity, love and happiness.
The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at:
