ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. – October 19, 2018 –
Plate-A-Cup™ by Eco-Eats™ Partyware, creates a unique experience at the annual 2018 LinkedIn Talent Connect Conference held at the Anaheim Convention Center
The Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA just minutes away from world-famous Disneyland is a hot spot destination for meetings and conferences, and is the largest convention center on the West Coast. It consistently ranked as one of the top 10 venues in the U.S. and is a trailblazer of convention centers to start the food truck trend on site. It is no wonder that LinkedIn returned to this venue for their annual Talent Connect Conference on October 9-11 where over 4,000 plus talented leaders, innovators, and influencers in the talent space gathered.
Anaheim Convention Center is always looking for innovative ways to enhance the experience of their clients and attendees, so when Nancy Kerr of Eco-Eats™ Partyware introduced her product Plate-A-Cup™ to Debbie Juliani, Director of Marketing of Aramark, there was big interest. The sugarcane pulp plates were not just aligned with the center’s green initiative, but the functionality of the plate would create an ease for their attendees to eat and network. In addition to these benefits, Plate-A-Cup™ was much more cost-effective than bamboo or palm leaf plates.
Aramark’s decision to bring in Plate-A-Cup™ for the Linkedin Talent Connect conference was a landmark event for Eco-Eats™ Partyware, giving the brand an opportunity to reach thousands of people and further pass its message of an eco-friendly eating culture. “I’m thankful that Debbie Juliani understood the concept and the convenience the plates would provide their attendees. When I got the email requesting 25,000 plates, I had to do a double-take to make sure I was seeing it right. This has been the largest single order we have received and hope this will open more opportunities for us with other conference and meeting venues,” says Nancy Kerr, the creator of Plate-A-Cup™.
Attendees at the event also expressed their delight and amazement particularly with the sugarcane plates with accolades coming from different quarters. “It was very convenient to network while holding the sugarcane plate with one hand. I was amazed at how sturdy and stable the sugarcane plate is,” says Valerie Rodriguez, Tower Jazz Semiconductors, Newport Beach, CA.
Debbie Juliani of Aramark also expressed her delight and appreciation to Kerr of Eco-Eats™ Partyware, “THEY LOVED THE PLATES SO MUCH! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!”
The event not only create a platform for meeting professionals but also allowed attendees to learn from the best with the likes Carla Harris, Vice Chairman, Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, Esther Perel, Psychotherapist and Host of Where Should We Begin?, and Tim Leberecht, TED speaker, Fortune 500 company consultant, and co-founder of The Business Romantic Society among the keynote speakers. Other keynote speakers include Elaine Welteroth, Former Editor in Chief at Teen Vogue and Jeff Weiner, CEO at LinkedIn.
