Akiva Systems Launches Kickstarter Campaign for Neurodivergent Individuals

AKIVA – Support Neurodivergent Future

Los Angeles – May 7, 2021 – Immersive solutions developer Akiva Systems LLC today launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for its global ecosystem for Neurodivergent individuals, AKIVA. The project is looking to raise $26,000 USD in backing to be used for personalization and voice-over adaptation of AKIVA in Spanish, French, and Russian languages.

The project started 16 months ago, when two fathers (Alexander Landa and Bill Macdonald) of neurodivergent children decided to improve the state of global education for children with special needs.

“We started development of AKIVA, when we realized the capabilities of Virtual Reality as a platform, recently aligned with the learning needs of our neurodivergent children”, said Alexander Landa, Co-Founder & CEO of Akiva Systems. “1 in 53 children in the United States are diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder according to the CDC. Over 6.5 Million children ages 2-17 have been diagnosed with ADHD. With the proliferation of global pandemic, many neurodivergent individuals are not able to receive necessary aid to explore, learn and thrive.”

This is where AKIVA provides a unique value. AKIVA is an immersive, and fun virtual reality learning experience that combines playing in the safe environment, self discovery, exploration, and learning into building the sense of accomplishment. This experience transforms into the important life skills a neurodivergent individual will develop to thrive in life, while having fun. AKIVA ecosystem is currently in Beta and is available on the Oculus Quest VR platform. Paired with the Companion App for Apple iOS and Android, family members, friends, specialists, and caregivers can participate in the immersive experience, while the users will enjoy short and fun sessions. The smart recommendation engine may help choose the best path to learn, as an additional value.

Those who back Akiva on Kickstarter can choose to participate in pre-order of the VR software subscription and a mobile Companion App for a different period from quarterly to annual. A special offer is made available for those backers who wish to become AKIVA Ambassadors. An Ambassador will have an opportunity to contribute to the future of the Neurodivergent ecosystem AKIVA, while becoming a proud owner of 2 to 5 AKIVA annual subscriptions, and 1 to 5 custom-created NFT portraits, as well as the exclusive merchandise.
