Airline Ambassadors presents Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness Presentations For Airline Industry and Community

What:  Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.

Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked in countries around the world, including the United States. It is estimated that human trafficking generates many billions of dollars of profit per year, second only to drug trafficking as the most profitable form of transnational crime.

The Recognize It – Report It training will enable participants to be able to identify the warning signs of human trafficking as well as be empowered with information to appropriately make a report.  Concerned citizens and the Media as well members of the Airline, Hospitality. Transportation and Tourism industries are encouraged to attend.

Who: Presented by the Airline Ambassadors, The Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation has been developed specifically for the airline industry and the traveling public.  This free program, sponsored by Houston Airport Systems and Travel to do good will provide participants with a better understanding of the magnitude and impact of human trafficking as well as its impact on victims.

Airline Ambassadors International (AAI) is a nonprofit organization that helps orphans and vulnerable children worldwide by leveraging their connections within the airline industry for humanitarian causes.  Volunteers escort children for life changing medical care and hand deliver humanitarian aid to children in orphanages, clinics and remote communities.  In addition to advocating on behalf of children they also provide education on human trafficking awareness.

Travel to do good.com, a signature program of the Affinity Travel Group, encourages travelers to travel responsibly by blending a volunteer or service project as part of the overall travel destination experience.  Their goal is to equip travelers and the hospitality industry at large with the information and tools necessary to travel to do good safely and responsibly.
