Adelaide electronic music brand Dance Floor Heretics has launched eXPEDITIONS, a new event format giving every DJ a full 2-hour set to build a complete musical journey. Born from a community poll demanding longer sets over bigger lineups, the debut event features eight acts — BOF, GTB, James Corbett, Solace, Matty B, Kool T, LickNTouch and Modular Wodular — across two rooms of house, progressive, trance and techno. ADELAIDE, SA – 15 April, 2026 – Adelaide electronic music events brand Dance Floor Heretics has announced eXPEDITIONS, a new event format designed in direct response to feedback from its community. The debut event takes place Saturday 25 April at Atlantis, Light Square, Adelaide, doors 6:00 PM.

Unlike conventional multi-DJ events where sets run 30 to 60 minutes, eXPEDITIONS gives every artist a full two hours on the decks — time enough to build tension, take risks, and deliver a complete musical journey on their own terms.

The format was conceived after Dance Floor Heretics polled its private community group, the DFH Tribe, on a simple question: more DJs on a lineup, or fewer DJs with longer sets? The response was unambiguous — the crowd wanted depth over volume.

“You told us you miss the kind of nights where a DJ can start slow, build tension, take risks and tell a proper story without watching the clock,” the promotion reads. “eXPEDITIONS is built on that feedback.”

The debut lineup features eight acts — BOF, GTB, James Corbett, Solace, Matty B, Kool T, LickNTouch and Modular Wodular — performing across two rooms, covering house, progressive, trance and melodic techno. Each set runs two hours, with no rapid changeovers or abbreviated peaks.

Dance Floor Heretics, a brand spawned from Adelaide’s 1990s rave culture, describes eXPEDITIONS as a potential movement — an argument for events where artists get room to explore and dancers have time to properly lock in with the music.
