National recognition celebrates an emerging destination for live jazz, exceptional musicianship, and the art of listening.
OTTAWA, ONTARIO – October 31, 2026 – Robo Lounge, Ottawa’s intimate live music venue and listening room, is celebrating a remarkable national distinction after being named Canada’s Best New Jazz Lounge by Syncopation North magazine.
The recognition marks an exciting milestone for the relatively new venue, which has quickly established itself as a welcoming home for jazz, live performance, and musical discovery in Canada’s capital.
Located in Ottawa’s historic Glebe Annex, Robo Lounge was conceived around a simple but increasingly rare idea: create a place where music takes centre stage, artists are celebrated, and audiences can experience live performance in an intimate, attentive setting.
At the heart of the room is a magnificent Bösendorfer grand piano, complemented by carefully considered acoustics, an intimate stage, and an atmosphere designed to bring performers and audiences closer together.
Since opening, Robo Lounge has welcomed an eclectic roster of established performers, emerging artists, jazz ensembles, singer-songwriters, and internationally recognized musicians.
