500 Most Influential People in The World and Guinness Book of Records

The award winning entertainment entrepreneur and journalist, Kiran Rai and Ralph Pereira have decided to continue their journey and interview 500 of the most influential people. They hope to break the Guinness Book of World Record for the most number of interviews conducted globally with influencers on the platform, Zoom, instead of stopping at interviewing only 100 of the most influential people in Asia.

Rai, who has reported at 106 major events including 36 sports events, 15 film festivals and 66 showbiz events, has recently started up a collaboration with the entrepreneur and start-up enthusiast, Ralph Pereira. Rai is also known for having written for more than 900 leading newspapers and magazines globally and rubbed shoulders with presidents and members of the royal family to world athletes and drinking cocktails with Vogue editor Dame Anna Wintour.

In a span of 15 days, Kiran Rai and Ralph Pereiera interviewed with Bhangra Legend, Sukshinder Shinda, Jazzy B and MBE Malkit Singh, as well as several playback Qawwali and Bollywood singers such as: Udit Naryana, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Adnan Sami, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Rahim Shah, Amaal Malik, Shaan, Benny Dayal, Palak Muchhal, Bhoomi Trivedi, Ali Zafer, Ash King, Rishi Rich, RDB Manj Musik, Shirley Setia, Shivamani, Arjun Kanungo, Aditiya Naryana, Farhaan Saeed. In addition to this they also spoke to upcoming bollywood stars Zara Khan, Tanuj Virwani, to Afghanistan singers such as Aryana sayeed and Farhad Darya to Sri Lankan A listers such as Umaria Sinhawansa to classical Hindi singers such as Jayanthi Kumaresh, to Padme Bhushan award singer Sudha Ragunathan to tabla legends such as Zakir Hussian and violinists such as Dr L Subramaniam and Kala Ramnath.

In an interview, Rai stated ‘ Its amazing to be part of this project and to have accomplished a list and with the help from PR companies Agency Sri Lanka – Anjuli and Global Athlete Management ran by Arsalan Shah in Pakistan and Salman PME world, this fantastic list would of never had happened.’ He continues by saying ‘I am happy that I am able to become a footstep to give all this talent what they deserve and to be on our list.’ Since doing this, Rai has decided to now focus on his work in Bollywood and further his career as a broker.

Ralph ensures ‘we are doing this because we can reach millions of people and by investing thousands of pounds to make sure every artist and talent is recognised globally.’ While he asserts that they ‘will continue to be voices for major talent across the world who have suffered from a lack of recognition for their hard work in the last 20 years,’ he also explains how this project means so much more to him. This foundation set up in Australia in November 2019 in memory of her life alongside his personal foundation, the Veronica Pereira Foundation, which works to help people struggling with mental health troubles and cancer.
