About 2Birds 1Stone
G-Lou and WrekItRalph are the duo that make up the group 2Birds 1Stone. Both seasoned and lyrically dangerous emcees, they merge the style of old school and new school, bridging the gap and innovating the culture forward. “It takes 2 birds to lift 1 stone” is the duo’s philosophy, stemming from a belief in accomplishing more through unity. The duo’s song ‘Move’ was placed selected and highlighted on an iHeart radio station playlist and their first album “Out of the Ordinary” got over 300,000 plays in the first four days across all major streaming platforms.
Together the duo has recorded close to 50 songs together and has already started on individual projects. G-Lou has worked on three songs with Scott Storch, who has produced artists like Beyonce, Lil’ Kim, Dr. Dre, Russ, etc. One of the most notable songs being ‘VIP’, a latin-islander clashed west coast anthem where G-Lou draws from his Guamanian-Puerto Rican roots, a relatively new demographic in hip hop.
An artist with a back story, G-Lou had to relearn to walk after a serious accident in 2016 that broke his spine and left him paralyzed from the waist down. After a miraculous 4-month recovery and with an even deeper calling for music, he would go on to network and establish a name for himself in the upcoming years behind the scenes in the industry, and locally in his hometown of San Diego, leading up to the completion of the group’s upcoming second album: “Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children.”
