Many singers who have appeared in JTBC’s “The Battle of Hip Singers” will showcase Korea’s “Pungryu” to Hallyu fans around the world through the “2022 Oriental Breeze K-Vibe Fest,” a global online concert on August 15th.
As the “2022 Oriental Breeze K-Vibe Festival,” which will write a new history of Hallyu contents(K-Contents) following BTS and Squid games, is said to be the most Korean-style, it is preparing to expand into the world.
“K-Vibe,” which combines Korean traditional music and modern music in the 21st century, is a stage of hip singers who have secured both artistry and popularity, and will give excitement to the world who have overcome the difficult pandemic era.
A total of nine teams, including the top 6, the leader of the Korean traditional music industry, including the so-called Chosun Pop’s founder, Seodo Band and the Korean traditional music band AUX, who is comparable to Metallica, and idol of Korean traditional music “Kim Jun Su” will appear to fill the colorful stage. In particular, six new remakes, including Kim Joo-ri’s “Someone Like You (Adele)” and Ondo’s Psycho (Red Velvet), are said to be prepared with a unique vibe that has not been seen on previous broadcasts as a crossover stage with famous overseas pop, K-Pop, and Korean traditional music.
The concert will be streamed live to fans around the world through the global live platform Hello Live (www.hellolive.tv) at the online realistic K-pop venue “Kocca Music Studio” located in Olympic Park. The first part, which is free, will share the joy of mash-up of melodies familiar to fans with Korean traditional music, while the second part will hold special performances for fans who want to cheer for singers and meet them in depth.
The TV Program “Pungryu Daejang’ was awarded by 2 awards, “Good TV Program of year” and “Good TV Program of the month” as part of supporting project for the Korea Creative Content Agency in 2022.
