Cusco, Cusco, Peru – Jan 16, 2016 – I cannot begin to say enough good things about Inca Jungle!! They started the trip off with the utmost hospitality – inviting us for breakfast, and throughout the trip at inca jungle we continued to feel cared about and cared for. The transportation, accommodation, and food was all wonderful and they were sure to take into consideration any and all diet preferences at every single meal. The trip add-ons (rafting on day 1 and zip lining on day 2) were organized, efficient, and SAFE. I was worried about safety, but always felt completely taken care of. Truly superb on all counts!
Our tour guide, Jammes, was without a doubt the best tour guide I have ever had the pleasure to trek with. He was knowledgeable, kind, and hilarious. The experience would not have been the same without him. Our tour group was rather large, so we were split into two smaller groups, but we also had the opportunity to interact with Ronaldo and Bryan, the guides from the others groups, and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them as well.
Overall, recommend this company (especially guide Jammes) enough. They thought of everything (towels included, diet preferences, group accommodations, backup storage for gear, literally EVERYTHNG!) and never once did I feel like I was “just another tourist.” If you are considering inka jungle trail (or any trek, I am sure!) with Inca Jungle Company, you will not be disappointed.
I heard about Inca Jungle from a friend who’d gone to Machu Picchu with them several years ago, and without reading any reviews online, I booked the 4D/3N Jungle Trail tour through their website. As someone who reads reviews for everything – seriously, everything – I had no idea what to expect from Inca Jungle Company. After completing the tour, I can honestly say they blew all of my unconceived expectations out of the water. My friends and I agreed that this trip was by far the most special and memorable travel experience we’ve ever had.
Jammes y Ricardo, our awesome tour guides, led us on this incredible adventure, keeping us entertained and safe the entire way. Inca Jungle was so professional and well-organized from beginning to end. Biking alongside a glacier, river crossings, cable car rides, zip lining, hot springs, comfy beds at night… plus authentic Peruvian cuisine… I really couldn’t have asked for a better way to trek to Machu Picchu. The inca jungle trek is Highly, highly recommend!
