CORONA DEL MAR, Calif. – October 27, 2026 – Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors, a nationally recognized retail investment sales brokerage firm, announced today that it has acquired the retail investment sales division of Visintainer Group, combining the two most active retail investment sales firms in California’s Central Valley. Together, the teams have closed more than $665 million in Central Valley transactions since 2021.
The acquisition is built on complementary strengths: Visintainer Group’s deep Central Valley roots and relationships, and Hanley Investment Group’s national platform. John Kourafas, CCIM, joins Hanley Investment Group as vice president, sales. Jamey Browning joins as transaction manager. Both will remain based in Fresno. Brett Visintainer, CCIM, principal of Visintainer Group, will stay on as a strategic advisor to both teams, focused on clients and 1031 exchange buyers.

At Visintainer Group, Kourafas was involved in more than $600 million in investment real estate transactions across multiple states.He specializes in retail investment sales, and notable transactions include Vintner’s Square Shopping Center in Lodi ($23.3 million), Cedar Tree Village in Fresno ($20.85 million) and Visalia Plaza Shopping Center in Visalia ($17.35 million). He has also represented multiple large family exchanges across the western U.S. Born and raised in Fresno, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from California State University, Fresno. Before entering commercial real estate, he worked in national food-service sales with Waypoint, managing key accounts for manufacturers including Tyson, Land O’Lakes and ConAgra.
Browning brings nearly 20 years of commercial real estate experience and a reputation for precision and seamless deal management. She holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno, maintains a California real estate license and is a Notary Public. She will support transactions across the country for both private and institutional clients.
