The platform was developed around the administrative work involved in organizing farmers markets, night markets, craft fairs, community festivals, and other events that rely on independent vendors. Organizers can create application forms, review submissions, approve or waitlist vendors, collect booth fees, and communicate application updates through the platform.
Marketlly also includes an interactive booth mapping feature that allows organizers to assign approved vendors to spaces and share updated event layouts. Vendor information collected through applications can be connected directly with booth assignments, reducing the need to maintain separate forms, spreadsheets, payment records, and maps.
The expansion follows Marketlly’s work with independent market organizers and vendors. One of the platform’s early users, Certified Farmers Night Market, moved its vendor management process from a combination of online forms, spreadsheets, and separate design tools into Marketlly while expanding from approximately 20 vendors to more than 60 vendors.
Marketlly supports both individual events and recurring markets. Farmers market organizers can create applications covering an entire season, while operators of one-time festivals and craft fairs can create applications for individual events.
