Toronto, Ontario – 3rd September, 2026 – Global Data Centre & Cloud Expo Canada (GDCC 2026) is set to become Canada’s biggest data centre, cloud and digital infrastructure event, bringing together 2,500+ industry professionals, 70+ speakers and 80+ solution providers covering Data Centres, Cloud, AI engineering and infrastructure strategies powering Canada’s digital future.
Taking place October 20–21, 2026, at The International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, GDCC arrives at a turning point. As AI, hyperscale, cloud, accelerated computing and data-intensive workloads reshape technology, infrastructure is transforming.
The modern data centre is evolving into a computational ecosystem, with AI as the driver, accelerating demand for high-density compute, power and electrical distribution, power quality, thermal management, liquid cooling, energy efficiency, high-performance connectivity, intelligent automation, cybersecurity, resilience and capacity planning.
GDCC 2026 brings these disciplines together, examining GPU-accelerated computing, LLM infrastructure, AI-driven optimisation, DCIM 2.0, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, cloud-native architectures, and digital sovereignty. The programme will explore digital capacity and power availability, energy constraints, strategic site selection, power zones, infrastructure corridors and investment reshaping the data centre real estate landscape. Sustainability remains central, with green compute, energy-efficient architectures, resilient power systems and digital infrastructure’s role in national competitiveness.
Shitij Taneja, Managing Director, Vertex Next, states that GDCC is about “Bringing digital demand to Canadian infrastructure and connecting demand with supply” creating a marketplace where digital demand meets the capacity, capital and capability to design, engineer, source, supply, deploy and operate infrastructure powering Canada’s digital future.
With 70+ speakers and 25+ technical and executive sessions, GDCC brings together data centre operators, hyperscalers, cloud providers, AI infrastructure companies, utilities, engineering organisations, investors and government.
The exhibition will feature 80+ solution providers, including Eaton, Arcadis, Fluke, EAE Group, LS ELECTRIC, Corning, Socomec, Aggreko and more, showcasing critical power, electrical infrastructure, power quality, connectivity, cooling, monitoring, automation and mission-critical operations.
Delegations will arrive from Alberta, Montreal, Vancouver and Saskatchewan, alongside international participation from the United States, South America and global markets. GDCC 2026 is a convergence point for those designing, engineering, and operating infrastructure behind the global digital economy.
As compute, energy, connectivity, intelligence and physical infrastructure converge, GDCC 2026 will help define next-generation digital infrastructure and Canada’s ability to build it.
