Dual 8K Detail or 4K@165Hz High-Refresh Gaming
iDock B12 is built to preserve the display capabilities of a high-performance gaming desktop. Compatible systems can drive up to dual 8K@60Hz displays through its HDMI and DisplayPort signal paths, giving users more screen detail for visually demanding games, creative work and other high-resolution applications.
For setups where refresh rate matters more, supported modes reach up to 4K@165Hz. The dock supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) standards—including G-Sync and FreeSync—to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering when paired with compatible GPUs and displays.
This iDock for gaming gives users the flexibility to build around high-resolution or high-refresh monitors without bypassing the KVM when switching between their gaming desktop and second computer. Actual display performance depends on the connected GPU, displays, cables, resolution and refresh-rate configuration.
2.5GbE and 10Gbps USB Extend Performance Beyond the Display
The shared setup extends beyond the monitors. iDock B12 includes 2.5GbE Ethernet, allowing connected devices to share a high-speed wired network. The added bandwidth is well suited to game downloads, NAS access, and other network-intensive tasks.
USB connectivity reaches up to 10Gbps for compatible storage and high-speed peripherals. A keyboard, mouse, headset, external storage and other USB devices can remain connected to the dock and move between computers with the rest of the setup instead of being repeatedly unplugged and reconnected.
