Pawira, a direct-to-consumer pet hydration brand known for its stainless steel cat water fountains, today announced plans to launch a dog water fountain before the end of the year. It’s the company’s first product expansion since it began selling the Pawira Stainless Steel Cat Water Fountain online.
The upcoming fountain will adapt the filtration and steel-construction approach used in Pawira’s existing cat fountain line to a larger-capacity design suited to dogs, addressing a request the company says has come up consistently in customer feedback since its original product launched.
“Cat owners have been asking us for years whether we’d build something for their dogs too, and multi-pet households have been asking even more directly,” said The Team of Pawira. “This is being built around what dogs actually need: a bigger reservoir, a sturdier base, and a flow rate suited to a different kind of drinker.”
Pawira said the new fountain is currently in development, with a target launch before the end of 2026. The company plans to share additional details on capacity, pricing, and availability closer to launch.
The announcement comes as Pawira continues to grow its customer base across North America, with the company citing increased attention to pet hydration as a driver of demand for both its current and upcoming product lines.
