New Novel Explores the Hidden Rogue Within Every Human Heart
Gentry Thomason’s inventive verse collection examines the complexities, contradictions, and enduring questions of the human experience.

MARIETTA, GA – Every person carries contradictions. We balance confidence with uncertainty, reason with imagination, compassion with self-interest, often without recognizing the quiet tensions that shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. In Rogues’ Gallery, Gentry Thomason distills those familiar experiences into a collection of original “poemographs,” using concise free verse to encourage reflection, curiosity, and honest self-examination.

Rather than following a conventional narrative, the book unfolds through a series of compact poetic reflections, each centered on a single image, observation, or philosophical idea. Together, they explore imagination, symbolism, creativity, relationships, conflict, integrity, courage, and self-awareness, inviting readers to discover new ways of understanding themselves and the world around them.

Drawing from philosophy, psychology, mythology, literature, and everyday observation, Thomason blends intellectual curiosity with wit, wordplay, and thoughtful reflection. Presented through the author’s personal philosophical perspective, the collection examines the strengths and imperfections that define human nature while encouraging readers to question assumptions, embrace fresh perspectives, and explore the complexities of consciousness, ethics, and human behavior.

More than a poetry collection, Rogues’ Gallery invites reflection. Its distinctive poemographs reward careful rereading, revealing fresh insights into human experience with every return. Readers of contemporary poetry, philosophy, psychology, and reflective literature will find a work that is intellectually engaging while remaining approachable, imaginative, and deeply observant.

Available in print and digital formats through Amazon, Rogues’ Gallery offers readers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and discover new perspectives on the questions, contradictions, and shared experiences that define what it means to be human.
